The Sense’s Mother was elected one of the best geek toys from 2014 and you my dear friend geek will understand why. It’s called Mother because it works like our real virtual mother helping us in almost any task. Is really user friendly and has one unlimited potential so don’t’ judge by the appearance like we did because you will regret.

The concept of the Sense’s Mother it’s very simple. It has chips and with your IOS, Android or Windows device download the apps. After that start giving the chips assignments to monitor something and they will report you back. That’s it.

For the specifications it weighs 2.6 pounds (1.2 kilograms) and has in dimensions 3.9 x 3.9 x 5.5 inches (10 x 10 x 14 centimeters).
It is powered by 4 CR2 batteries that are included and will last about 2500 hours, that’s around a little bit more than 3 months and the cookies batteries will last about 12 months. And yes white is the only color available.

When you receive the Sense’s Mother it comes with 4 Chips, but you can buy extra ones, since it can connect into 24 Chips at the same time. The Sense’s Mother needs to be connected by Ethernet, so please just put it near your router. The chips work by wireless and have the range of around 20 meters indoor, but don’t worry they can store several days of data, so if they are not in range you can bring them for example once a week near just to download the stored data.
After doing the first configuration of the Sense’s Mother where you can give her any name, very useful if your neighbors also have one, for the chips you can also choose any name you want. After all set you can download the applications into your cell phone and receive the information.

– Medication – put one chip in the cap of the medication and will alert you in case you miss
– Coffee – put one chip on your coffee machine and will let you know if you are running out of espressos
– Cartoon – put one chip on one object and when it moves a cartoon style, one sound is played on your device
– Secrets – put one chip for example on your Batman Gotham Cityscape Chess Set and will alert you if someone like your pet is playing with it
– Presence – give one chip to each member of the family and will alert you for example when your kids reach home from school
– Temperature – place one chip in one division of the house and will monitor for you, also will let you know in case you set any threshold that the temperature reach that level
