We all know how fun is the Orbotix Sphero, now imagine one upgraded version Star Wars style… and your wishes just come true, we have the BB-8 App-Enabled Droid available. It’s true this joint venture is amazingly fun and one must have for all geek friends that are Star Wars fans, that means everybody. The droid is excellent, very agile, very easy how to control it. But be careful it moves at the alarming speed of 4,5 mph or 7 kmh around your house patrolling everything that happens. So if you have pets at home, prepare yourself for one war droid vs dog/cat. You can command the droid manually in your app, send it in patrol missions (where it actually goes by himself exploring the terrain, in this case your house) and the funniest part for us was the holographic messages, where using the app you can record your own messages. Another feature that we need to mention, because it blown our mind was the fact that we can talk with the droid. The BB-8 App-Enabled Droid is 4.8 x 5.3 x 8.9 inches and weights 1.2 pounds.
